Chapter 173 User Feedback
Chapter 173 User Feedback
Yu Heng moved the phone away slightly, glanced at the screen, and then put it back to his ear.
"Did you receive it?" he asked.
"How could I not have received it!" Zhou Wanyi's voice trembled slightly. "I even took the package to work to open it... Luckily, my colleagues didn't see me!"
"Then just say it's household items sent by a friend," Yu Heng said with a smile.
"What kind of household item looks like this!" Zhou Wanyi exclaimed. "Xiaoheng, you...you're being ridiculous!"
There was a rustling sound coming from the phone, like Zhou Wanyi moving around.
Then there was the sound of a door closing; she must have gone into some room.
"You...you did this on purpose?" Zhou Wanyi asked.
"What did you do on purpose?" Yu Heng asked.
"You sent this on purpose..." Zhou Wanyi said, "to embarrass me. How could you send me something like this?"
"Is it embarrassing?" Yu Heng smiled. "I think you'll like it."
"Who wants it!" Zhou Wanyi said. "I'll send it back to you right away!"
"Why send it back?" Yu Heng said, "It's already been opened, you can just keep it."
"I don't want to," Zhou Wanyi said.
"It's just a sample," Yu Heng said. "It's a product I made myself, I brought it here for you to try."
"You did this?!" Zhou Wanyi's voice rose slightly, then abruptly lowered again. "Why did you do this?"
"Sell it," Yu Heng said. "Where there's demand, there's a market. This is much better than the one you bought yourself."
"Please don't mention that again..." she pleaded.
"Okay, let's not talk about it." Yu Heng readily agreed. "Then give it a try, consider it helping me out."
"How...how am I supposed to try..." Zhou Wanyi murmured.
"Just try it normally," Yu Heng said. "It's not like you haven't used it before."
Zhou Wanyi's face flushed red.
"That...that's different..." she tried to argue, but lacked confidence.
"What's the difference?" Yu Heng chuckled on the other end of the phone. "The functions are almost the same, it's just that the design and materials have been upgraded."
Zhou Wanyi bit her lip, unsure of what to say.
"Sister-in-law?" Yu Heng waited for a while but didn't hear a response, so he called out again.
"Hmm..." Zhou Wanyi replied.
"Please do me a favor," Yu Heng softened his tone, "I urgently need user feedback, and among the women I know, you're the most suitable."
"I..." she hesitated, "I don't know how to write any feedback..."
"No need to write," Yu Heng said. "Just give me a call or send me a WeChat message when you're done using it and tell me your experience."
Zhou Wanyi unconsciously fiddled with the bed sheet.
"Feeling..." she repeated, her face turning even redder.
What kind of feelings could one have?
It's just... that feeling, isn't it?
"For example, is it easy to clean?" Yu Heng said as if he were talking about an ordinary daily necessity, "and what about the appearance, do you like it?"
Zhou Wanyi recalled the glimpse she had just caught and quickly stopped thinking about it.
"I'm afraid Mom will see me." She made up a practical excuse.
"Try it again after Mom goes to sleep tonight," Yu Heng said. "Keep your voice down, and don't do it like last time."
"Xiao Heng!" Zhou Wanyi said reproachfully, "Don't make fun of me."
"Okay," Yu Heng said, his smile fading, "So, will you help me with this?"
Zhou Wanyi didn't speak, staring at the box on the bedside table, her heart beating a little fast.
"I... I'll think about it," she finally said.
This was the most compromise answer she could give.
Yu Heng didn't press her: "Okay, take your time to think it over, but there's only one sample, don't throw it away, it's quite expensive."
"I understand..." Zhou Wanyi said softly.
The two remained silent for a few more seconds.
"Is there anything else?" Yu Heng asked.
"No...that's all," Zhou Wanyi said.
"Then I'll hang up," Yu Heng said. "Let's talk on WeChat if you need anything."
"Um."
The phone hangs up.
-
The lecture hall was filled with more than a hundred people.
Ning Yutong sat by the window, staring at her textbook, her mind filled with images of yesterday at the villa.
Yu Heng's hands, the coldness of the glass, and the way he himself was squatting on the ground, trembling.
She bit her lip, and the tip of her pen poked a small hole in the notebook.
"Ning Yutong," her roommate nudged her with her elbow, "the teacher is looking at you."
She snapped out of her daze and looked up.
The teacher adjusted his glasses and continued lecturing.
"What's wrong with you?" my roommate asked in a low voice. "You seem distracted."
"It's nothing," Ning Yutong said. "I didn't sleep well last night."
"Oh," my roommate said without asking any further questions and continued taking notes.
Ning Yutong took a deep breath and forced herself to listen attentively to the lesson.
But less than two minutes later, his thoughts drifted away again.
She remembered what Yu Heng had said.
"Your body is reacting the same way they are."
Same……
She gripped the pen tightly.
How are they the same?
She didn't want to be like Zhou Mengqi, so proactive, so...
However, I don't think I'm doing much better myself.
My legs went weak when someone touched my waist.
If your leg is bumped, you can't stand up.
The bell rang, signaling the end of get out of class.
"Let's go," my roommate stood up, "We don't have class next period, want to go back to the dorm?"
"I..." Ning Yutong paused, "I'm going to the club to film a video today."
"Oh right, your TikTok, right?" My roommate laughed. "Go for it, you little internet celebrity."
Ning Yutong forced a smile, took out her phone, and glanced at WeChat.
The pinned chat is with Yu Heng. The last message he sent was last night: "We're filming a video tomorrow afternoon, don't be late."
---
When Ning Yutong arrived at Zhou Mengqi's villa, Yu Heng was standing in front of the whiteboard, sketching simple storyboards with a marker.
"Today we're filming the third scene," he turned to the group of people sitting around the table, "a customer walks into the pawnshop and makes a deal with the proprietress."
Bai Xinran sat near the door, with the script spread out on her lap.
Zhou Mengqi sat next to her, playing with her hair tie.
Ning Yutong pushed the door open and came in. Yu Heng glanced at her and said, "You're here?"
"Mm." Ning Yutong sat down in the chair against the wall.
"After we finish explaining this scene to them, we'll film you changing clothes," Yu Heng said, looking at her.
-
"Alright, that's it." Yu Heng tossed the marker onto the table. "You guys go through the scene like this first, get a feel for it."
He turned around, picked up the camera bag leaning against the wall, and looked at Ning Yutong.
"Let's go upstairs to take the photos," Yu Heng said. "The dressing room is upstairs, so it'll be convenient to change clothes there."
Ning Yutong clenched her fists; she didn't want to go upstairs.
It's more private upstairs; that's where it was last time...
"Can't we take the picture here?" Her voice was a little tense. "The lighting in the living room downstairs is quite good."
"The living room is too messy," Yu Heng said, unzipping his camera bag. "Let's go upstairs."
What he said made a lot of sense, and Ning Yutong couldn't find a reason to refute it.
Ning Yutong stood up and followed Yu Heng up the stairs.
Upon reaching the second floor, Yu Heng pushed open the door to the master bedroom.
The room was large, and the bed was neatly made; this was Zhou Mengqi's room.
"This will do," Yu Heng said as he walked in and placed the camera on the dressing table. "Go to the dressing room and change your clothes first."
The walk-in closet is inside the bedroom, and the door is open.
Ning Yutong went inside, where many clothes were hanging.
"Which one should I wear?" she asked.
"That white dress," Yu Heng said, also entering the dressing room, "the one on your right."
Ning Yutong took off the dress, held it in her hand, and hesitated for a moment.
"What's wrong?" Yu Heng asked.
"Change your clothes," Ning Yutong said. "You can leave now."
"What if I don't go out?" Yu Heng took a step forward. "Let's just change like this."
