Chapter 224: Beginning of First Mark (3/8)
Since those attacks were spinning, it would give hard resistance to her Chronace Storm. But that was when she got an idea.
'Why am I giving just a singular form of flow to my Chronace storm?'
Rin's eyes glinted, and a grin started spreading across her face as those attacks entered her Chronace Storm before those drills dissolved into a flow of energy and mixed into her storm.
[Congratulations. You have comprehended and learned Chronace Flow—Offence: Dissolution Flow.]
Rin swung her blade as time slowed it according to her control. She gathered energy and condensed it to an extreme.
There was a certain flow whirling around her blade, chaotic yet orderly, but always in criss-cross form.
She immediately made use of her newly acquired knowledge of her power to create a certain formation.
As her blade moved forward against a solid layered barrier that her opponent enacted to defend, Rin's blade struck it and seemingly passed through it without destroying the barrier, and then a spiraling storm unleashed with golden-red lightning, destroying all the defenses in micro-order.
"Arghh!" The Shade tried to defend and exert control, but something strange happened with the destruction of her barrier.
Rin's Chronace storm and the Shade's chaotic control of her energies caused all the destroyed energies to go along with Chronace flow in a strange manner as it whirled around her blade from end to front.
Right when her blade stopped and struck the Shade, a terrifying slash of chaotic power fluxed out of her blade, its effect even causing Rin's hands to turn into mush.
*Crack!*
The scenery around them cracked like glass before the domain vanished, and they arrived back at the gloomy jungle with a raging river going deeper into the mountain's wall.
Rin floated fifty meters away from the Shade that was cut into two as both parts of her body floated side by side.
She used her Spirit force to chug a Tier-4 healing potion from her Hunter card as her hands started regenerating.
'Thank you.'
The river seemed to turn more raging as the water was moving forward while clashing against the mountain wall and splashing towards the forest.
Erix turned around to look at the river as he felt something, but when he saw the river's raging flow, he felt like a bright lightning struck before him, clearing the darkess that was clouding him.
...
Meanwhile, Rin was in the same state as Erix. The Dissolution Flow gave her an inspiration that she couldn't put her finger correctly into.
But she knew that her last attack was pure coincidence when she swung her blade and the amount of power it fluxed when her blade stopped striking her.
She felt that she had seen that phenomenon before or at least...heard about it, but couldn't recall it properly.

'How could it produce such a powerful force the moment my blade stopped its motion?'
'The Chronace flow created that and boosted it, but it happened because the other energies mixed it.'
'Still, that phenomenon was not the result of Shade's energy. It happened because of the flow,' Rin bit her lips, feeling annoyed since she knew it but couldn't recall it.
*Wiss.....*
The wind blew strong as Rin opened her eyes and deeply breathed.
The river raged on while Rin looked in the sky. That was wholly black except for some sparkling things, which she knew weren't stars.
'What was that flow...'
A gust of wind blew above her. That wind gust appeared like usual when the wind flowed slowly but suddenly increased in speed and power.
Her eyes started shining as she remembered the topic of study and also the reason why her attack fluxed such a powerful force.
