Chapter 320: Grandiose Recruitment, Rules, Crazy World Boss Event

Rin and Erix used full-time in Limitless Plane to explore and expand different ways of the Chaos concept.

Their progress to reaching the 2nd realm concept was slow because of the nature of the concept. Both of them could see many possibilities on how they could direct their Chaos concept forward, but that also prevented them from progressing.

Their understanding of those possibilities was still vague and not solidified. They didn't know how and which way should their Chaos concept progress.

But they could only try without giving up despite knowing their dilemma.

On the other hand, Isabella and Aria made significant progress. Aria even succeeded in awakening the Ice element, reaching 1st realm in Ice affinity in her first Limitless Plane session.

Isabella had been trying to awaken the Magma element since she had focused on the Fire and Earth combo for the past week and also succeeded today.

With Magma, Isabella's affinities numbered five.

Water — 2nd realm

Earth — 2nd realm

Wind — 2nd realm

Magma — 1st realm

After everyone got kicked out of the Limitless Plane, Isabella said, "The world boss will start after half an hour. I have enough to buy the Attribute-concept slate, but I'll do it after the world boss."

"That reminded me, we didn't have the option of Attribute-concept slate when we checked Mystic Shop, so that means a higher level of Mystic Shop gives more types of items?" Erix rubbed his chin.

Rin nodded, "I remember that we can increase Mystic Shop's rank by spending Mystic Coins. 10,000 coins to make it level 2 if I am not wrong."

"Mystic Shop? What is that?" Aria curiously asked.

"It's a special shop in the Labyrinth Towers. You'll know how it works when we go there after World Boss," Isabella smiled. "And yes, my Mystic Shop's level is at 3, and the options of Attribute-slate also appeared in this level."

"I see...Well, Rin and I can take it easy on getting new powers. We still have a bunch that we have to get on the same level, haha."

"You see, the concept of Chaos can do many things because it can apply to almost everything, and since the 2nd realm will only unfold based on our own thinking and direction, let's utilize it well."

"Hmm...It seems that you thought of something," Rin raised her eyebrows.

"Yep. I am thinking about gearing my meaning of Chaos to affect things chaotically with longer and permanent changes in things," Erix's eyes gleamed. "Not just our own, but influence external powers and things too."

"I see what you mean," Rin grinned. "We'll work on this in our next Limitless Plane session."

"Also, I'm gonna put our guild and Heavenly Melody guild bases on the Island," Erix said with a thoughtful expression. "The environment of the island is way better, and training is faster there."

"Our island is roughly as big as this meadow where everyone is living, but the living space we have here is not much," Rin said. "I think we can barely hold a thousand people properly. The other areas must be ours to shape and make for training and other things."

"Anyway, let's go and announce the tournament first since almost everyone in the city is gathered at the tower."

"The number is more than I imagined," Rin said with a chuckle as her spiritual mystic eye captured the view of people at the tower.

The group left the Island and flew towards the gathering at the tower since the boss would appear in the vast jungle patch at the east of the tower until the river.

The jungle would creeply grow every day and also get destroyed every day due to boss fights.

Everyone flew up, some with wings, various skills, items, or flying monsters.

'I am afraid everyone will have a small haul of Mystic coins today," Rin grinned, her eyes glinting dark red, 'Erix, let's go out all out.'

'Yep. We are behind on only one thing, and that's Mystic Coins, haha. Let's show them our capability in full glory and clear-cut manner.'

Erix's smile grew ferocious.

Five seconds passed as they finished their exchange, and the gargantuan boss started materializing. It looked as if it was made of metal, but had a unique stuture.

Everyone heard a notification, but Rin and Erix were surprised, while Aria was as curious as ever because all of this was her first time.

"What is Safe Veil? I'm sure this didn't appear when we fought World Boss daily five months ago," Erix said as he looked at the giant barrier that covered a hundred kilometers of radius with the World Boss at the center.

It was five kilometers away from the group of twenty-five thousand people that spread in the sky. Some groups also stayed on the ground as they had more advantage and power on the ground.

"The daily World Boss event changed after we cleared the 3rd floor. They are insanely strong and cause widespread destruction where everyone dies multiple times."

The laser didn't just sweep at a single angle, but in a zig-zag manner. This made it hard for people to even predict, making it a matter of luck for many.

Erix, Rin, Aria, and Amu were fast enough to react, but only Erix needed to act, so the others didn't do anything.

Erix made everyone teleport instantly to dodge the sweeping laser attack.

This first attack instantly killed several thousand people out of twenty-five thousand.

"They are dying again," Aaron said with a pout.

"Kids. Focus on training," Leon said with a stern expression. It was his duty today to keep the kids' attention away from the battle.

"No, I want to see Rin and Erix! They are strong! I want to see their power!"
